Andean Challenge
On 1 March 2020, 2 HSBC colleagues from Malaysia will join 99 other HSBC colleagues from around the world to trek 100km through the high altitude volcano region in Ecuador. With no access to typical facilities, everyone will be carrying their own personal equipment and camping gear for 5 days, sleeping rough in the middle of nowhere, in order to raise money and awareness for mental health.
Colleagues from Malaysia have chosen to partner with RELATE Malaysia.
Donations will be made to RELATE Malaysia to raise awareness and understanding of mental health in Malaysia. Let’s work together to show mental health matters and to ensure no one has to face a mental health problem alone.
About RELATE MalaysiaRelate Malaysia started in 2017 with the aim to improve mental health in Malaysia. Their goals are to:
1. Promote the importance of mental health as part of well-being.
2. Promote prevention and early intervention programs
3. Develop effective, evidence based and accessible interventions.
4. Encourage the establishment of community support and services for all who need them.
5. Advocate for policies which protect patient rights and autonomy.
