Hike For Hong Kong is a social responsibility initiative driven by the Listing Committee of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. Participation is open to members of the Listing Committee, as well as the staff of the Listing Department, the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Ltd and the Securities and Futures Commission (Corporate Finance). All participants are welcome to take part with their family and friends.Participants take part in the hike to raise funds for HandsOn Hong Kong, a local community-focused charity. Money raised from Hike for Hong Kong 2017 will benefit a Skills Workshop program for students with intellectual disabilities. Many of these young people have limited access to vocational training, making it hard for them to contribute to society in a meaningful way. These workshops equip the students with employable skills.
