IDEAS Autism Centre proudly presents the Give Hope to Autistic Children campaign during the beautiful month of Ramadan. We are teaming up with people like you to provide autistic children and their families from the low-income group with food packs this Ramadan.
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced our families to become food insecure. With pandemic restrictions and safety protocols impacting the local area, many have lost their jobs or are getting major pay cuts.
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, “He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbour goes hungry.” (as reported by Ibn Abbas).
Your generous support will help us deliver food packs to vulnerable autistic children and their families. Our Ramadan food packs will provide essential items to release the low-income families from worry about where their next meal will come from during the fasting month.
WHAT’S INSIDE A RAMADAN FOOD PACK?
Rice, cooking oil, dates, flour, oatmeal, rice vermicelli, fresh milk, sweetened condensed milk, sugar, salt, tea bags, Milo, biscuits, bread, sardine, soy sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sauce, and fruits.
A donation of:
● RM10 provides Sahur and Iftar for 1 child
● RM50 provides Sahur and Iftar for 1 family for 1 day
● RM350 provides food for 1 family for 1 week
Your donations will also go a long way to support the autistic children to get continuous early intervention programmes and therapies. Without the opportunity to learn to read, write or communicate, these children are more likely to face difficulties later in life including unemployment, poverty and often exploitation. All funds raised through this campaign will go towards food, education, and therapies for autistic children.
Please donate to create something life-changing and give these children the foundation they need. Kindness is one of the universal principles that all religious traditions adhere to. We can all make a difference. Thank you so much! 🧡
