Asia Center Foundation and Phuket Vagabonds Academy Junior Rugby Development Program:
Ahead of our 20 years celebration in 2022, we once again kicked off a rugby development program with the Phuket Vagabonds Rugby Club, with the aim to impact the lives of children who otherwise are exposed to very few opportunities in life. To make this opportunity a reality we are raising funds for our sports scholarship program. Yearly training expenses for 30-40 Thai children connected to ACF and interested in rugby, will be covered by this program and we currently have 20 boys and girls on the program. They will have the opportunity to participate in weekly rugby coaching by Phuket Vagabonds Academy coaches presented at the Alan Cooke Grounds every Saturday morning. To sponsor a child’s coaching for one year costs Baht 2,500, which includes a training uniform, shoes, weekly transportation and lunch.
