My Story

Hello, My name is Louis. 
I am 9 years old and I already took swimming classes in the past but then I stopped. I enjoy swimming but I got motivated the most when was told about this challenge and what subject it was for. 
When my mum asked if I would do it or not, I wasn't sure I was going to say yes. This is a big challenge for me, as I had never done any open water training for such long distances before. 
We are training for a total distance of 2.5km, to swim around Middle Island in Hong Kong. 
 We are training every Saturday and Sunday mornings, whatever the weather forecasts! We have trained under the rain, in scorching heat, and with a storm ! 
 I do this with my school friends for Alfie, my teacher's son who is sick. It is absolutely worth the effort!
