My Story

Hi all,

The background to this is probably a touch personal. Like a lot of chaps that hit their early 40s and realise they might not be 28 any more and after 15 years plus of burning the candle at both ends, I realised I was battling the bulge and standard health tests were not telling a favorable story. It's at this point, it's important to make a potentially life changing decision that could have a determining impact of the rest of your life...

In my case, as someone that (used to be) sporty, this has left to a bit of a resurgence - and entering the Cambodia Half Marathon on 8th December seemed like the perfect opportunity.

But enough about me...

More importantly, as my T-Shirt logo states, I am raising money for MAKNA that does wonderful work for something that impacts the majority of us during our lives. MAKNA is one of the largest Cancer Care Centres in Malaysia and does amazing work  providing curative, preventive, research and support services to cancer patients and their families, high-risk groups and the general public, in Malaysia and the region...

So come on everyone, whether my own story regarding my own quest for good health or, more importantly, the idea of supporting the wonderful MAKNA charity resonates with you, please search for your credit cards and give generously  to this cause.

It will definitely make an impact.
