Cherie De Asis is fundraising for UNICEF Philippines
Raising fund for the less fortunate Filipino children for their nutrition and education. In the Philippines, children make up to 37% of the population. Many of them still do not have access to proper nutrition and education.
My Story
"I've always wanted to reach out to less fortunate people but I just couldn't figure out what, how, and where do I begin this journey. After 3 years of soul searching and finding purpose in my life, I found out that I wanted to pursue my passion to be a yoga teacher. In year 2015, during my yoga teacher training in Andalusia, Spain, I had a vision of myself in front of a great number of children. It was after an inspirational and powerful yoga practice, on my Savasana (where my eyes were closed on a corpse pose) that I saw myself, teaching to children. It was then that I perceived to start my charity work for the needy children in the Philippines."
