The pandemic has deeply affected us in many ways and some communities experience bigger impacts which includes refugees. The lives of refugees had already been difficult before the spread of the coronavirus because they lack access to basic necessities such as education and healthcare. Some at the young age of 8 or 9 are required to start working to contribute to their household income instead of enjoying their childhood like most of us. This has once again made me realize the privilege we hold, hence as an act to give back to society, I have chosen to start raising funds under the Aiesec LARD(Light a refugee's dream) program and this page would play as a platform for those who wish to contribute help these children. 

In light of raising funds for the refugees to receive proper education, I have started a challenge. 
The challenge is:-

• For every 100 ringgit raised I will run 2km.
•   The results will be recorded on the Nike running app and will be posted on my Instagram (ewnice_okn). 

As for the donation proceedings, donors can rest assured that all funds received will be processed by SimplyGiving. It should be noted that a 5% service charge will be billed from the total amount received and the remaining will be transferred directly to Manna House Learning Center.
