I am Wacky and I've stepped up to be a Hero from Home by raising funds for Save the Children Philippines!
My Story
For my birthday, my parents and I want to share our blessings and give back to the thousands of children and families Save the Children is helping during these hard times of COVID-19. Instead of a physical gift, make my birthday special by making a donation to Save the Children through this fundraiser! Help me reach my goal of Php 5,000!
Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19 and the enhanced community quarantine, Save the Children remains committed to respond to the needs of vulnerable children and their families.
Since March, Save the Children has distributed over 3,000 hygiene kits covering more than 13,000 individuals, 21 portable, child-friendly handwashing facilities benefiting more than 50,000 people; as well as meals, food baskets, PPEs, and medical equipment to communities in Metro Manila, Cavite, Rizal, strategic points in Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao, and Misamis Oriental.
But there's more work to be done and more children and families to help! Donate to Save the Children and help make sure that children not only receive essential items, but also that their voices are heard and their views considered in these tough times.
