My Story

As has become a tradition over the last few years, I am continuing to celebrate a present-free birthday and this year I have chosen to fundraise for 'MERCY Malaysia'. It would mean a lot to me if you could donate to this very worthy cause - there is no such thing as too small a contribution, as every donation can help to make a difference. On this milestone birthday birthday, I am aiming to raise at least RM3,500 and every donation will help me to achieve this goal. 

MERCY Malaysia is an international non-governmental organisation, that provides medical relief, sustainable health-related development and risk reduction activities for vulnerable communities, in both crisis and non-crisis situations for the last 23 years. They have been present in more than 19 countries and have successfully reached out to over one million beneficiaries. 

Some of their recent and current projects include providing disaster relief to flood-impacted victims during the flood crisis in Malaysia at the end of 2021, providing critical winter relief to refugee families in Syria, providing medical training via a midwifery and obstetrics programme for women in Syria to service the growing refugee community and more.
