Pre/Post Natal LIVE Workout Fundraiser is fundraising for Mother's Choice Limited

I have chosen Mothers Choice as this charity really speaks to me! We all know it takes a village to raise a child and at Mothers Choice, the team works really hard to support children without families and pregnant teenagers in Hong Kong. Their vision is to put every child in a loving family, their mission is to join hands with the community to give hope and change life stories.

My Story

Almost 4,000 children in Hong Kong live in institutional care, with hundreds more without safe, loving, and permanent homes. The longer a child lives without a family, the more detrimental it can be to their development.

A recent study from Bain & Company conservatively estimated that the majority of the 7,000 crisis pregnancies in Hong Kong each year are single girls are under the age of 25. Their passion to provide loving, non-judgmental support to the many pregnant teenagers who had no one else to turn to quickly expanded to providing nurturing care to children without families, and to be a voice for them to be in a family.

At any time, almost 4,000 children live apart from their families due to a number of reasons, including neglect, abuse, violence in the home, abandonment, economic hardship, and incarceration.
