SUPPORT OUR CAT CARERS! THE PEOPLE WHO CARE FOR CATS! At Cat Beach Sanctuary, 300+/- cats and kittens need daily care. Who cares for the cats? The wonderful Cat Beach Team of Cat Carers! 

Through the difficult years of the pandemic, the CB Team members have never missed even one day of care for the cats. Every single day, the cats are fed, cleaned, checked for medical issues. The Sanctuary is swept, mopped, sanitised. All this is only possible because of the loyalty, dedication and hard work of the members of the Cat Beach Team. 

Cat Beach attempts to give every purr-son who joins the CB Team at least a basic income to meet their daily needs. Yet hard hit by the pandemic, the CB Team members have not received back pay. The debt to this hardworking team has now accumulated after 2 years to more than RM 20,000 (USD $4,600). 

Cat Beach needs to raise that money to pay the back debt and to have funds to support these caring people to continue cat care in the future. That's why we are targeting a goal of RM 50,000 (USD $11,500) specifically to help sustain the cats' care by qualified and caring people in the coming year.

The Cat Beach Team welcomes Volunteers and Interns who come for a few hours or may stay for years. Team members devote much time and energy to training and education in purr-son and online to ensure that cats receive the best possible care.

It is said that the Prophet Mohammed loved cats and let his cat sit on his lap while he was teaching.  Another story relates a time when Muezza was asleep on Muhammad's robe when the call to prayers sounded. Although most people would have simply shooed away the cat, the Prophet instead cut off the sleeve of his robe so Muezza could sleep peacefully. It is said he then stroked Muezza three times and the marks can be seen in the lines on cats' heads. It is also said the Prophet granted cats the ability to land on their feet under any circumstances, and also gave Muezza seven lives.

Most of our CB Team follow the Muslim faith and all are true Cat Lovers. Please help Cat Beach give the People who care for the cats all our support.
