Malbatt 850-8 "FOSTERING PEACE & SUSTAINABILITY"
The world is facing an unprecedented challenge with communities and economies everywhere affected by the growing COVID-19 pandemic. Malaysia is coming together to combat the COVID-19 pandemic bringing governments, organisations from across industries and sectors and individuals together to help respond to this global outbreak.
On 14th November 2020, United Nation Interim Force In Lebanon (UBIFIL) which led by Pertubuhan Bangsa-bangsa Bersatu (PBB) was dispatched to South Lubnan to maintain peace and improve sustainability.
The order was managed by Kontigen Malaysian Battalion (MALBATT) 850-8 and Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM). This order aims to lead and coordinate the nation effort, supporting civilians to prevent, detect, and respond to the pandemic.
