Edith is part of our family and is the kindest and warmest woman with a truly fantastic sense of humour, she has the most incredible energy and outlook on life. She is also without a shadow of a doubt the strongest and most brave person we have ever met, since her diagnosis in August 2022 she has never once complained about her situation. Throughout months of daily radiation, and accompanying chemotherapy that would have floored anybody else, she has faced everyday with a hugely positive outlook and strong resolve.
We, her employers, have supported Edith through her treatment and will continue to do so. We want to do everything we can do help her survive this and her daughter is currently staying with us so they can have time together. Edith and her daughter have made the decision that they would like to do this surgery back in the Philippines with family around and we have committed to supporting them and trying to solve the funding required for it through our amazing friends, family and community.
