In 2017, at a very young age, Enzo was diagnosed with Acute Lymphobastic Leukemia and since then has undergone series of medication and chemotherapy as recommended by the doctors at the Philippine Children's Medical Center to help alleviate and cure his condition. Due to his weakened immune system, Enzo has been spending a lot of time in isolation in the hospital to protect him from any infections and other illness. There were times that he would have fever after his chemoteraphy as a side effect and it was such an agony to look at. Recently, Enzo's body has not been responding very well to the chemotherapy and doctor's are looking for other possible treatments and medication to address his condition.
Enzo's mother, Joan, is a close friend. She is a single mother who supports Enzo on her own. Given the series of chemotherapy that Enzo underwent since 2017 and the succeeding treatments and medication that he still needs (Chemotherapies, MRI, Medicine, Hospitalization, Other Lab Testings, etc.), Joan has difficulty acquiring the sufficient resources to continue Enzo's treatment/medication. All the current available funds are slowly depleting and may not be enough to sustain Enzo's full recovery.
