She was diagnosed since 9 years old with Diabetes Mellitus. She is having insulin injected to her body twice in a day with 40 units in the morning and 10 units in the evening before taking any food. She needs to use either 100cc or 50cc insulin syringes everyday, 30 syringes/month. She also needs to monitor her blood sugar level so we need strips for about twice or thrice in a day. She went to see her doctor like every week in Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Philippines (an organisation for diabetes). She was blinded at the age of 20 as complications of her diabetes sugar level. And she is using Timolol Maleate as eyedrop to relieve the pain in her eyes, which she consume every month. Averagely, she needs 6100 Php/month to get be able to get those items regularly.
This Campaign is to support her monthly maintenance and expenses for keeping her life as diabetes and a blind patient.
She cannot work due to her condition that is why we created this fundraising hoping that we can provide her needs monthly. She is also happy to accept sponsorship of the said medical supplies.
