FUND NEEDED FOR HUMANTARIAN MISSION THIS RAMADHAN TO TONDO, PHILIPPINES
5,000 muslim families live in Manila's poorest neighborhood. One child in every family in Tondo had to stop going to school to contribute to household income, which is usually $3-5 a day. On roads covered with 4.5 hectare trash, children were to dig and find plastic containers and turn them into recyclable material to be sold to the market. Trash pickers are exposed to broken glass, endless swarms of flies, feces, oozing methane and other health hazards. Would you help us to establish a better waste management system so that the children remain healthy and able to go to school?
The children deserve to be in the classroom with a pencil and a book in hand. I stand with Quality Education because everyone deserves them.
