MERCY Malaysia is preparing its medical teams for a sustained medical assistance for at least one month.


Funds raised will see to the deployments of medical teams between Kuala Lumpur and Kathmandu, for an extended period of time. Hence MERCY Malaysia seeks your generosity to lend assistance by your contribution towards MERCY’s humanitarian aid.
                                   
It is reported that 30 of 75 districts in Nepal have been affected especially in the Western and Central Regions including the Kathmandu valley. The current death toll is estimated at over 4,000 people with thousands of others injured across the country. The number of fatalities and injuries is expected to rise in the coming days. In Kathmandu valley, hospitals are inundated with people seeking medical treatment with medical supplies running low. 

MERCY Malaysia will be responding by deploying their emergency medical team and will be part of the Malaysian response team. A field hospital will be set-up with a mini-surgery, an out-patient department (OPD) and a pharmaceutical service to serve the affected community in Nepal.
