SimplyGiving on the Road - September

We were delighted to attend both the Philanthropy for Better Cities Forum in Hong Kong and the 5th Annual China Charity Fair in Shenzhen in September.

The Philanthropy for Better Cities Forum was the first forum of it's kind held in the region and was generously sponsored by The Hong Kong Jockey Club.

The forum focused on metropolitan social issues including Ageing & Health, Youth & Education, Environment & Sustainability and Innovation & Technology. It was great to mix with philanthropists, charities and technical innovators during the week long event.

Philantrophy for Better Cities Forum

The 5th Annual China Charity Fair (CCF) was a national charity gathering in Shenzhen co-hosted by the Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs, the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government, the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government and the China Charity Alliance.

The CCF is the only national-level philanthropy event in China and we were delighted to be able to attend and have a stand at the Fair, promoting the work we do in supporting charities fundraising goals at Simply Giving. It was great to see hundreds of Chinese Charities, Social Enterprises and people focused on the social sector development in China participating in this event.
