Breakfast with Save the Children

Breakfast with Save the Children

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the most ambitious set of global goals adopted by countries to end poverty, to protect the planet and to tackle inequalities by 2030. Achieving these goals require collaboration between governments, civil society and the private sector. We were delighted to join the CEO of Save the Children International and former Prime Minister of Denmark, Helle Thorning-Schmidt, for a breakfast dialogue on the important role of business in addressing the challenges faced in Asia and around the world and in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). There is an extraordinary opportunity for companies to invest in the SDGs – through resources, expertise and strategic business change - and in doing so, boost economic growth, profitability and long term viability.
