Hello, my name is Sean and I am going to be 10 years old soon. I'm raising funds for Ikhmal, a 13 year old boy, who needs money to continue his education.

My Story

Hello, my name is Sean and I'm going to be 10 years old soon.

So for my 10th birthday, my parents have asked me that it would be nice to donate my birthday presents to charity. So, here I am, this is my first time fundraising and through this journey I would like to help children, animals and the less fortunate.

For Sean's first campaign, he will be fundraising for Ikhmal (supported by Yayasan Chow Kit - a 24-hour crisis and drop in centre for disadvantaged children in Chow Kit). Ikhmal is a 13 year-old boy who dreams one day to raise himself and his family out of poverty. His mother, who raises him by herself, tries her best to juggle her work as a shop assistant and a cleaner, but still struggles to make enough to support Ikhmal and his sister, Nisha. 

Ikhmal recently obtained A1 in his UPSR exams, and due to his excellent grades, was offered a space at Darul Khifayah. Yayasan Chow Kit is organising a fundraising campaign for Ikhmal so that he can continue his education and achieve his dream of becoming an engineer. All donations raised will go to the recipient.
