Hi Everyone! We are collecting funds to nurture young Rohingya children in Malaysia. Help us provide basic education to these children and give them a chance at a brighter future.
My Story
Al Ikhlas is a Rohingya Refugee Children School in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
By providing these children with the necessary education as well as care and attention. By nurturing these gifted children we are allowing them a winning chance in life and to contribute back to society.
Currently the school is in a bad shape, with many of its facilities and appliances nearing the end of their life expectancy. The funds collected will allow us to replace some of these potential hazards as well as provide new tools to broaden the scope of our syllabus.
The school itself will be renovated to allow for a more conducive study environment as well as to cater to more students.
We will also be getting new supplies and stationery for the school as well as replenish the books for their library corner.
-- The Rohingya are refugees from the Rakhine state of Myanmar. They are the victims of extreme discrimination and genocide. Thousands of Rohingya families have fled for their lives, often in makeshift boats, with many dying along the way or trafficked into slavery and forced labor.
