Dear Family and Friends,
Our beloved husband, father and brother, Dr. Lum Wei Wah, has been called home to the Lord on the 16th of May 2023. He was on holiday in Egypt with his family when he had an incident during a dive. The wake will be held on the evenings of the 25th, 26th, and 27th of May, as well as a funeral service on the morning of the 28th of May at his home in Pontian, Johor (559, Jalan Kukup, Batu 39 1/4, 82000 Pontian).

He has been passionate in advocating for conservation and the living beings created by God especially birds, fishes and wildlife. He also has great pity for the unfortunate and needy particularly orphans and the disabled. Even moving to Pontian was a decision to serve and bless people by providing more medical access to this town.
So in honour and memory of his name, the family would like to respect his wishes and request donations in lieu of flower wreaths to this page where proceedings will be channeled to the causes he holds dear in his heart, such as World Wildlife Foundation, UNICEF, Malaysian Red Crescent. If you have any other suggestions, we are open to them too.
"Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad." What more a dad of the community.
He has lived such a rich life, always living life to the fullest and cherishing every moment, whether it was for the family, the community and the nature that he loved so much. He has touched the lives of so many and made a difference with the time he had on this earth.
We will miss him dearly.
Until we meet again.
Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay. You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Psalms 16:9-11
Dear Joanna, deepest condolences to you and your family.

MYR 1,000 to Dr Lum Wei Wah
My deepest condolences to sis dr Hong Lee, Jeffrey, Johnathan and Joanna. Dr Lum will be greatly missed for his kindhearted soul, his childlike faith, his caring nature, his generous big heart for others and His faithful love for God and God's family. I will never forget how he & sis Hong Lee cared for the youth fellowship, esp to youth like me back then, whom they have supported and mentored me with great humility, displaying Christ's love and selflessly sharing of their lives and home, leaving impact in our growing up years! Thank you so much BLum. You will be greatly missed. Nevertheless, be comforted that Blum is with Jesus now. Take care Blum's family.
