JACQUELINE ALBERT

As cliche as it sounds, we know how important education is. And how education is the key to change the circumstances we are in. But unfortunately due to geographical reasons, pressured socioeconomic circumstances and education inequality, some of our fellow Malaysians do not have the opportunity to attend school or even resort to dropping out halfway through in high school. Dreaming about pursuing tertiary education seem even more distant.

Small Changes (and some other NGOs with the same vision) fight to bridge the gap of education inequality. This year we will be having 3 projects (Project Aspire to Inspire, Seeds of Deeds Reinforced & Flagship) empowering 2 target groups; the Orang Asli community at Kg. Tanah Gembur, Tangkak, Johor and the form 4 & form 5 students in rural areas of Kuala Lipis, Pahang and Pasir Gudang, Johor.
