I am raising funds for 2 purposes:

Do you remember Nat, the cute little guy I sponsor who is in the full-time care of Asia Center Foundation in Phuket? He will be finishing his first year of primary school at the end of March! The first 10,000 Baht raised will go to Nat’s scholarship for 2021/2022. 

My aim is to raise at least 70,000 Thai Baht - this is approx. R36,000 / £1,800 / €2,000 / US$2,500 / AU$3,000. With a little faith, hope, charity - and love, I know I can reach this amount.

The rest of the money raised will go towards the funding for me to work at ACF for 1 year.
ACF have limited funds for my position currently. Times are tight and they need all the help they can get. The impact of covid and the non-existent tourism industry has left families totally destitute and unable to earn any income. 

My role will entail assisting the Founder & Director (and Wonder Woman) Roelien as much as possible; assisting with vital communications with ACFs global supporters and friends through various means and online platforms; fundraising and events; assisting with onsite visitors; assisting with proofreading and editing documents that have been translated from Thai to English. I REALLY look forward to being part of the team again.
