Sunrise CB Enterprise

Sunrise CB Enterprise is a social enterprise that creates sustainable livelihood via baking homebased cookies for mothers in B40 group. Mothers in Seberang Perai Tengah, Penang, Malaysia area are earning less income as odd jobs workers, often accumulating debts. They depend on welfare help. These mothers from B40 group do not realize the potential in bakery items to make an income. 


The social enterprise provides knowledge and training on the bakery skills to mothers which will certainly allow the B40 group of women to be eligible for higher paying jobs that would eventually lead to higher income, become M40 group of women. The enterprise not only provide training to the women, we employ them to learn baking and eventually own up their own businesses.  We provide tools and baking equipment during training.
