Wilfredo "Ace" Sarmiento was only a kid when he was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect mainly having holes in his heart. Unlike other teens, Ace came from a broken and poverty-stricken family and he quit school in order to support their finances. Just when he is starting his career in the events industry, he started experiencing excruciating pain on his right knee.

He disregarded such feeling and continued to work despite having to feel such discomfort until it came to a point that he no longer can go to work because he can't walk. Despite being absent for more than a month in order to rest and medicate, the swelling didn't stop and instead grew twice it's size and the pain is said to be unbearable.

He needs to undergo MRI and biopsy to know what is the real cause of the abnormal and rapid swelling of his knee which we initially thought was just a case of gout or arthritis. We are trying to raise enough funds to cover the hospital expenses, treatment and medicine that he will need.
