我為甚麼為Colin而跑？ Please pray for Colin，是我最常從Colin媽媽收到的訊息。Pray for quick wound healing、pray for strength to start walking...除了祈禱，我還能做甚麼？
七年前，當時五歲的Colin是我弟弟的病友。他們都是罕見兒科癌症 (神經母腫瘤) 的四期患者，接受多項治療後幸運地相繼康復。然而，幾個月前，Colin的癌症復發了，而且擴散到脊髓和腦部。化療等傳統治療已不足以控制病情，而免疫治療的費用龐大，我又收到Pray for Colin的訊息。
這次，我決定挑戰渣馬半馬賽事，籌款分擔Colin的部分治療費！

This year, I will challenge myself to complete the half marathon on Feb 17th to raise funds for Colin's rare cancer treatment. My goal is to raise at least HK$30,000, and I need your help to get there!

Why am I running for Colin?“Please pray for Colin”, is the most frequent message I receive from Colin’s mom. “Pray for quick wound healing”, “pray for strength to start walking”...I often wondered, what else can I do other than praying?
About 7 years ago, 5-year-old Colin was my brother’s fellow cancer fighter. They were both diagnosed with the same rare childhood cancer (Stage IV Neuroblastoma), and after a series of treatments, they were eventually in remission. A few months ago, however, the cancer came back for Colin. It has spread to his spine and brain. Traditional treatments like chemotherapy can no longer control the disease, yet the treatment cost of immunotherapy is extremely high. I received a message to “pray for Colin” again.
This time, I decided to challenge myself to complete a half marathon to cover some of Colin's treatment cost!
