UCSI University 18th Annual Public Health Campaign is an annual event organized and held by students from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of UCSI University. Through this campaign, we plan to raise awareness and educate the public on the prevention of various chronic diseases that affect our population. This year, our theme is cancer, with emphasis on colorectal, lungs and breast cancer.
In addition, we will also be carrying out basic health screening tests for the public such as blood pressure measurement, and blood glucose test. Since this is a non-profit event, we rely solely on sponsors and donations to cover the costs of our event.
Through this fundraiser, we are targeting an amount of RM 2,000.00, which will be used to cover our major costs which are glucose test strips, lancets, and printing of exhibition posters.
