What is MMI x Kalsom Care My Colorectum?Colorectal cancer is the second most prevalent cancer in Malaysia in both males and females. These statistics are alarming, as with the availability of the screening tests, the fact that colorectal cancer ranked as one of the highest mortality rates among Malaysian reflects the low level of awareness in the community. We strongly believes that effort of increasing awareness should be done at any time of the year, not bound to only the month of March where Colorectal Awareness Month falls on. Hence, this initiative will be conducted from the 16th of May 2021 till the 18th of June 2021.MMI x Kalsom Care My Colorectum aims to educate the public on the importance of early colorectal cancer screening and what can be done to do so. This initiative also aims to raise funds from the public through Donation Drive with possible collaboration with organizations which provides care and supports colorectal cancer patients in Malaysia. Through this program, we also wish to invite colorectal cancer survivor patients to share their experience while fighting with colorectal cancer.Who will benefit through this donation?Through this donation drive, all funds will be channeled to three organizations equally which provide care and support to colorectal cancer patients in Malaysia. Our beneficiaries for this drive areEMPOWERED : The Cancer Advocacy Society of MalaysiaNational Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM)National Cancer Council Malaysia (MAKNA)We aim to reach a target of RM3000.00 through this donation drive.How can you help us to support our cause?In the spirit of lending a hand for others, we would like to invite you to donate in support of our cause to support colorectal cancer patients who are in need.
