I love reading books about different types of vehicles and I like playing with Tomica toy cars. I also like to watch The Octonauts TV show which is about exploring the underwater world and protecting the ocean in a submarine. Because of my love of vehicles, I chose to make these themed cupcakes to raise money for 'Bring Me A Book', which is a local charity that runs literacy programs for Hong Kong's low-income communities.Let's spread the love of reading!

Hello, I am Allegra and I am 9 years old. I am helping Bring Me A Book Hong Kong which is a wonderful charity with a great cause. BMAB HK believes that every child should be read to and I believe that as well! For your donation, I will make “pawsome” treats to give to dogs in my neighbourhood. I will make 3 types of homemade treats: 1. Chewy Cheesy Puppy Puffs, 2. Cheddar Bacon Cheddar and 3. Blueberry Banana. I will also read 3 books which are out of my normal comfort zone.

I have participated "Bring Me A Book"(BMAB) events the past few years. Due to COVID-19, school closed, libraries closed but children still need good quality of books to read. I am happy that BMAB provide us with the online platform so that we can still continue to help and raise funds.Henrik and I will do a 7k hiking next month. We are not just doing it for fun and fitness, we will also carry trash bags and gloves to collect any trash we find along the way. We depend on your support to raise funds for children in need!

We are happy to join the “BMAB Ambassador Program”, and introduce our fund-raising project "IKEBANA - One Flower is One World". During the COVID19 lockdown, we have both learned to appreciate more of the natural beauty of plants and flowers. Mom picks up Ikebana flower arrangement, while Eric helps with flower cutting, picture taking, and most importantly praising & appreciating. Throughout the project month of September, we will do ONE Ikebana setting per day and post the pictures on this project page (if this simplygiving.com website allows). We hope, with the simple beauty of flowers, we could help make people happier during this difficult time of COVID19.
