Malaria is a life-threatening disease caused by parasites transmitted to people through the bites of infected female mosquitoes. Village Malaria Workers are volunteers recruited by the USAID Control and Prevention of Malaria Project to help in preventing the spread of malaria. They have to walk 3-5 km daily to educate the villagers and check their blood for infection. My goal is to run 1,000km in 5months in order to raise money to donate 30 bicycles to help Volunteer Malaria Workers get around quicker and easier.  And just for reference:1 bicycle = RM 500 (AUD 170)AUD 1 = RM3
