Running has opened up my horizons, bringing me to new places around the world, and strengthening my determination and mind. Being a Sundown With Love ambassador, I hope to be able to reach out to fellow runners and contribute to SportCares Foundation. SportCares Foundation works to improve the lives of the less privileged, youth-at-risk, seniors, and physically and/or intellectually disabled in our community. I believe all of us can do our part through sports to care for others.

Hello there, I am Desmond, and the charity of my choice is SportCares Foundation. Sports has impacted my life so much, and it will be wonderful to see it do the same to many others. Coming on-board as a Sundown With Love ambassador is an extraordinary opportunity to pursue running competitively as well as to give back to the community. This intricate intertwined of sport and charity proves extremely rewarding for me, and I hope to also share it with YOU! I’ve also achieved my first road race win back in Sundown 2010, and it is the start of many!
