Hence, your attentive donations will go to any environmental campaigns such as River Care, Forest & Coastal, Peatland and Outreach programmes that will benefit from your monetary donations.The Adversity of Climate ChangeWeather will become more extreme Heatwaves , floods, droughts, and wildfires and all becoming more frequent (IPCC Report, 2020).29% of the world population will experience some level of flood in their lifetime (Rentschler & Salhab, November 2020).With a 2°C increase, extreme hot days in the mid-latitudes will be about 4°C hotter (7.2°F) than pre-industrial levels.U.N. report projected that about 14% of the world’s population would be exposed to extreme heat waves once every five years if global temperature increases are held to 1.5°C. That percentage would jump up to 37% with a rise of 2°C.With a 1.5°C increase, sea levels are projected to rise by 2100 by 0.26 to 0.77 meters (0.85-2.52 feet) relative to 1986-2005.With a 2°C increase, sea levels are projected to rise by 2100 by 0.36 to 0.87 meters (1.18-2.85 feet) relative to 1986-2005.With a 1.5°C increase, 6% of insects, 8% of plants, and 4% of vertebrates are projected by 2100 to lose more than half of their climatically determined geographic range.With a 2°C increase, those percentages double or triple: 18% of insects, 16% of plants, and 8% of vertebrates are projected by 2100 to lose more than half of their climatically determined geographic range. Save our "Blue Marble". It is the only home we have. My name is Ho Chong Yong, 11 yrs old. I like to take action to introduce you how to save the one and only planet that holds billions and trillions of life including you and the ones you loves.The world is facing big threat - Natural disasters are happening rapidly due to global warming. If all the ice melted around the world, this will cause the sea level rise 216 feet! (equivalent to 9 school buses stack up vertically) Forests die and are progressively replaced by fire prone brush along with lifeless black plains. Rainfall is inhibited on a regional scale. The habitat for all living life will get destroy since there is global warming.Instead of ZERO interactions, please take action by donating to Global Environment Centre.The GEC is register in Malaysia as non profit organization (1998) but works regionally and internationally both directly and through many partners.The fund will be put into service of:-monitoring river, lake and ocean pollution-Development and promotion of forest management together with rehabilitation of forest.-environmental education and info exchange in communityBe excellent, don't be a zero but be a HERO!请救救我们唯一的小“蓝球”吧！大家好，我是何忠勇，今年十岁。我们的海洋和森林都受到全球暖化的破坏，成千上万的生物将来会失去家园，包括你和你所爱的人。Global Environment Centre 是马来西亚一个非营利组织，并参与全球暖化的活动。-包括清洁水源-保护森林-生态环境教育请资助GEC，做救地球的英雄！

Hi, thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page. Water is one of the most important substances on earth. All plants and animals must have water to survive. If there was no water there would be no life on earth.Nowadays, Malaysia having water shortage problem.Although our country having lot of rainfall,yet we are still facing water cut problem.We should figure out the problems and take action. Peoples are not appreciating our abundance water resource and keep wasting water. As a part of the mother-earth,I have the responsibility to raise awareness among my friend and family. I have recorded a video about how can we contribute easily to water conservation by creating our own low flush system.I hope you guys can spend a little time on the video and follow the easy steps to save our water. Besides, you guys can donate as well to help me achieve my fund raising target Rm500. The fund will go to the Global Environment Centre (GEC)River Care Programme to protect, conserve and promote living rivers ,restoration and rehabilitation of river. Hello All, For this holidays, I thought of doing a little something different. I will be taking part in Stop The Drip, Save The Drop Campaign and aiming to raise money for Global Environment Centre (GEC) My bit is to raise RM500 or more for a very essential cause ...WATER CONSERVATION. Why Am I Doing This?? The issue of frequent water disruption has caused great inconvenience to our daily lives. A frightening fact known to me has been the lack of conscious effort by most of us to conserve water. When the tap dries, we scramble to save..when it flows, we waste. Rain or shine, we could be left with depleted, unclean water..Hence I am humbly requesting YOU to join me in spreading greater awareness on the protection and sustainable use of rivers; the MOST IMPORTANT SOURCE of our drinking water…so that water conservation should be a daily, year round habit for all of us.
