Hi people! Have you ever heard that Malaysian have been importing single used plastic from foreign countries? For your information, all those single used plastics were imported for the purpose of recycling, but do you think that the plastics were all recycled? Some of it were recycled, and some of it were not. Only the higher-grade plastic that was valuable was sorted and recycled religiously. Where else, unfortunately, the low-grade chunk isn't suitable for recycling hence those plastics automatically kept to aside to be burnt. We Greenpeace Malaysia stepped up to fight for this issue and most importantly to solve this issue. We need the support from generous people like you to contribute to us so that we can save our environment and most importantly for our future generations. We believe in people power and together we can save our precious earth. Greenpeace does not accept money from governments, corporations or political parties. Individual contributions, together with grants from foundations, are the only source of our funding. This is why we need your help, your donation and fundraising can help to investigate, campaign, document and lobby for a sustainable balance between humans and the environment. All changes start with you. Fundraise for Greenpeace or Donate today for a sustainable future.

There are some who can so cruelly poach beautiful whales and throw their remains back into the sea and some who so callously burn forests for their commercial gain. Our world is breaking, and we are breaking her. They are deliberately and intentionally causing immeasurable destruction to our planet, but we can and will save her. Let's do it together <3

I feel ashamed to be a human today. We are the only species that is cruel and hateful. I hang my head in shame 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 We went back to several sites affected by the illegal importation of plastic waste, in Selangor and Kedah, to collect water and soil samples. Material from these samples were found to be composed of SHREDDED PLASTIC, instead of SOIL. Intensive lab tests on samples collected at these sites contained high concentrations of heavy metals. Among them were 𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙪𝙢 and 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙. With long-term exposure, cadmium and lead can affect not only our environment but our health as well. 𝘾𝙖𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙪𝙢: Can cause damage to the kidneys, lungs, and bones 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙: Over time, can cause damage to the brain and the nervous system Learn more in our new report: https://www.greenpeace.org/malaysia/publication/3349/the-recycling-myth-2-0/ Let’s move towards a #BetterNormal • • • 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝘆𝗶𝗮𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗸 𝗱𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗷𝗶 𝘀𝗲𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮 Kami telah kembali ke beberapa tapak di Selangor dan Kedah, yang terjejas akibat aktiviti pengimportan sampah plastik secara haram untuk mengumpul sampel tanah dan air. Hello all, I am Uncle Adam here, Have you guys heard of Greenpeace? I am sure many of you guys are already aware that Greenpeace is an international environmental NGO. Today I'm gonna share with you guys about the latest campaign of Greenpeace in Malaysia which is "SAY NO TO SINGLE-USE PLASTICS". How many of you guys know that Malaysia is actually becoming one of the largest dumping grounds for single-use plastic waste since China has banned taking in plastic wastes.?? Shocking??? But that's the truth, Malaysia has been importing all these plastic wastes from first world countries. Why?? There are many irresponsible parties that actually claim that we import this wastes to be recycled, but how far is that true, definitely not, it consumes a lot of time and money to recycle this plastic wastes. As most of us already know plastic is very dangerous not only to us humans because it contains microbeads that carry heavy metals such as mercury that causes harm to our human body. Not only that plastic wastes cause sea animals like turtles and fishes to die of suffocation as plastics are misidentified for jellyfish. That's serious right?? So you may wonder what are we doing ?? We have managed to shut down multiple illegal operators that are dealing with this plastic waste in the Klang Valley, on the whole, we are trying our level best to send all this plastics back to its native-land as this issue has already spread to the northern region of Malaysia.Just a random question, I wonder how would we feel if we were to compile our neighbors rubbish... hmmm Definitely sickening right. Greenpeace has always believed in people's power, that is why we only accept our funding from individuals of the public. Can you imagine this importing were to go on, what is going to happen to our beloved country? Just think about our next generation, don't you think they deserve better, so here is a chance how you can make a difference for our next generation, join us now join our movement and make a difference, they deserve better. All you guys have to do is by humbly giving us a contribution to HELP US SAVE OUR MALAYSIA. TOGETHER LET'S MAKE A CHANGE.THANK YOU.

IMPORTANT!Do you know that when new disease like COVID-19 is existed, there is no vaccine is to be developed and going to take 1 year or 18 months to be developed the vaccine? It is said by WHO and the world scientists. Do you know after pandemic of COVID-19, our environment drains with polluted air continuously that made by humans? Are you worried of COVID-19? Ever thought about the bad environment that screws up our life? Are you aware of the air pollution that completely is a silent killer? Do you know that Malaysia considers being the world's waste bin? Do you want your grandchildren seeing the full of plastic wastes in our land continuously in the next 30 years? Me neither.Generally, most of the developed countries are carrying plastic wastes where it purposely for recycled or further processed to the developing countries or underdeveloped countries. As you know, most of the developed countries have lost their major importer when China started banned most import plastics wastes in January 2018. Malaysia is then taking the lead by importing nearly millions of tonnes between January and July 2018 and currently Malaysia had received more than billions of tonnes.GREENPEACE MALAYSIA here had already investigated that the international trade system is broken down which is allegedly to regulate the importing and exporting of recyclable plastic wastes globally and these import activities actively jumped into Southeast Asian nations to fill the gap. Currently, criminal actors have abused the inability of legal operators and also, the failure of authorities to cope with the increased imports just to make quick dirty money. We are all getting sick to hear these so often because it already threatens millions of people's health and it creates haze every year.Fundraised here is aim to:- making research and reports- getting rid of plastic wastes by ending the single-use plastics- pressuring the local authorities- pressuring the companies- protecting our forest- protecting our sea and land- support our campaign by creating awareness to the public- making efficient enforcement policies and strengthening the laws- demanding people's powerAND SO MUCH MORE!This is not race issue neither politics issue but rather is a humanity issue that we as a human, need to educate ourselves by applying our humanity mindset and values. This donation is once in a lifetime to GREENPEACE MALAYSIA ACCOUNT BANK and as long as you can afford to contribute because even RM10 also can transform into good impacts to our environment.Everybody deserve a clean environment, clean air and a second chance. A pragmatic solution needs to be taken starting from YOU. If not you, then who? If not now, then when?(For your information, GREENPEACE MALAYSIA is an independent NGO where we fully rely on public support, not from government or any corporate agencies.)Further information: https://storage.googleapis.com/planet4-southeastasia-stateless/2019/04/7c9f822c-7c9f822c-the-recycling-myth-malaysia-and-the-broken-global-recycling-system.pdf https://www.thestar.com.my/news/regional/2020/01/20/malaysia-sends-back-trash-says-won039t-be-world039s-waste-bin https://www.instagram.com/greenpeacemalaysia/

Hi all, good day to everyone, have you heard of greenpeace malaysia? And does any 1 of you know about our latest campaign in malaysia. As we can see Malaysia can be classified as one of the biggest dumping ground for plastic waste. Yes you read it right, plastic waste, the best part not our own plastic waste, but plastic waste from first world countries. Can you like imagine what would happen if our neighbour throws their waste at our home...pheww,cant even imagine. As many of us are very well informed, its not easy to recycle single use plastics,as it consumes a lot of time, effort, and money,so i think we have a clear picture of why malaysia has become the dumping ground... yes you are right money.. There are some illegal parties who import this plastic wastes claiming that it can be recycled, but like i said earlier,it costs a bomb,so what they do is they decide to burn these plastics.. that already sounds bad right? So what happens next,?? Plastic contains micro plastic which contains heavy metals like mercury. When we burn these plastic wastes ,this heavy metals actually are transferred through the fumes, which are actually being inhaled by us humans ,and also heavy metals are released to the ground, causing plants to get contaminated,in the end its back to us humans whom consume this plants, how many of us actually know that heavy metals are the reasons for chronic illness like cancer and etc. So can you imagine what would happen to our mankind if this keeps on going, very soon the whole malaysia will be piled up with this plastic waste burning grounds, and we should be prepared of loosing more of our loved ones... Hmmm sad isnt it..? Thats is why we are here to try to stop this from happening, were on the midst of sending back these wastes from where they belong,we have actually already sent back some. Love your country?? Thinking how to support us already?? So,why dont you become a superhero yourself and save our beloved country. Act now before its too late, lets save malaysia together, donate now. Together lets make change. Thank you.

Effects of Open Burning on the Human Health 1. Open burning can lead to breathing difficulties 2. Eye irritation 3. Bioaccumulation and toxicity in humans 4. Threat to the normal functioning of the liver, brain, kidney, hear,t and lungs 5. Carcinogenic elements Effect to our mother earth open burning 1. Smoke irritates the environment 2. Adverse climate changes are experienced 3. Smoke obscures visibility 4. By burning garbage, mercury can be released and leaches into the soil, the air and in water 5. The presence of Nitrogen Oxide is activated and increased in the air 6. Open burning of tires lead to the emission of dioxide and furans 7. There is always the risk of the fire getting out of control The solution to us ⛰free from pollution like air pollution 🔥 stop illegal open burning plastic in Malaysia 🐦stop Malaysia become a plastic dumping ground 🏜better Recycle 👩‍🌾5. Hi, nama saya Suvaranjani Renganathan.

Greenpeace is present because this fragile earth needs a voice. We need solutions. We need change. We need action. Founded on the belief that a billion acts of courage can spark a brighter tomorrow, reflected in each of our environmental campaigns. As you know, it takes about 100-500 years for plastics to disappear naturally. In fact, plastics are a real threat to the environment. Still more aware of the adverse effects of using plastic bags? Let's read the simple facts below: 1. 24% of the 19,000 tonnes of solid waste in Malaysia is plastic 2. The classic bag is made of polyethylene which is a petroleum-based product. 3. About 60 - 100 million barrels of petroleum are used each year to produce plastic bags worldwide. 4. About 500 million to 5 trillion plastic bags are manufactured and used every year worldwide. 5. And only 1% of it is recycled. 6. Plastic bags take 100 or 500 years to be disposed of naturally. Soluble toxic substances in the soil can affect our food chain. 7. Every year, more than 100,000 sea turtles and animals die from plastic bags. 8. Every year, more than 500 billion plastic bags are used worldwide. More than 1 million are used every minute. 9. Plastic removed annually is enough to circulate the world 4 times. 10. Plastic bags are also used by glue absorbers where they contribute to brain defects and are seen as immoral. Plastic pollution is an inevitable global issue. This is because plastics are widely used in various everyday activities around the world. Its widespread use has made plastic a major contributor to pollution in the oceans. Global statistics show that five trillion plastic bags are used every year and 13 million tons of them are dumped into the sea. Meanwhile, it is estimated that one million plastic bottles are purchased every minute and 100,000 marine life is killed due to plastic every year. In Malaysia alone, an estimated nine billion plastics are used by Malaysians each year, and most of them end up in the ocean. This situation is very worrying because plastic is a non-perishable component. Plastics can only break down into small particles and decompose when exposed to ultraviolet radiation, oxygen, high temperatures and microorganism activity over a period of time. Damaged and dissolved plastics in the sea will be microplastics (plastic particles between five millimeters and 0.1 micrometers) and nanoplastics (smaller than microplastic size 0.0000000009) that will pose a danger to the diversity of marine life (from plankton to large animals such as seabirds) , turtles, dolphins and whales). These plastic particles are not only a direct hazard when consumed by animals in the oceans, but the chemicals contained in the plastic will also absorb into the tissue of the animal. This situation will certainly pose a major threat to the sustainability of marine life and human health when consuming seafood sources contaminated with microplastics and nanoplastics. Small plastic particles that remain in the oceans for centuries have not only threatened the marine environment, but have also disrupted the entire marine ecosystem, disrupting the clutter and disrupting the food chain system in the oceans. Join us to fight our environment for our next generation, don't wait until mother earth destroy!!!

Our future is determined by us and we need to act now! Because the Earth is in pain by us. And we need to act now by reducing the usage of plastic since everyone in this world is using Plastic. Malaysia imported 195, 444. 46 metric tonnes of plastic waste from the US from January to July 2018 alone, in comparison to a total of 97,544 Metric tonnes for January to November 2017. This is really dangerous for our future generations because it can cause Air pollution and so on.Plastics release hazardous emissions when burned. Open burning of plastics releases large amounts of toxic health and climate-damaging pollution including fine particles and black carbon, an important contributor to climate change. Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), dioxins, and furans are among the most toxic chemicals commonly released into the air when burning plastic waste; chronic exposures cause cancer and interfere with hormone functions. That's why we are here to stop these to prevent climate change when it's already happening! Even our sea creature is suffering because there's so much plastic in the sea and the sea creature can't live with Plastic. The most visible and disturbing impacts of marine plastics are the ingestion, suffocation and entanglement of hundreds of marine species. Marine wildlife such as seabirds, whales, fishes and turtles, mistake plastic waste for prey, and most die of starvation as their stomachs are filled with plastic debris. Mother Earth, No 3 – Sol Solar System, Orion Arm, 26,000 light-years 2.45979e+20, Milky Way Galaxy, Universe. Hey Mom, I hope this letter finds you well. I’ve heard recently; you’re not doing so well. You don’t seem so happy like you used to in the old days. I get it …You’re mad at us. We are living on you as if we have another one to go to. I would also be, and I'm sorry it takes me so much time but trust me, Mother, I am trying. There are many like me, and they all love you so very much, and they will do anything to help you. Mom, it’s been some time since we’re told not to go out. We stayed in our brick walls, confined, away from the real comfort, you normally would provide. I didn’t see the morning birds and squirrels anymore. Even the crows go silent. You are silent. Too silent. I missed the morning breeze, the fragrant smells of morning glories and daisies. The sound of rivers, the rustling of leaves, the night sky full of stars. Mother, I know you’re not well. I know you’re ill and weak. I know you’re hurt. I know some of them who hurt you, and it's not easy to let go. But now is not the time to be angry Mom, not the time to be disappointed. No time to be sad, no time to be sick. Why? Because they have come. The one who has always protected you. Now is your time to rejoice, because they have come. Those who sail through the seven seas, just to defend you from those who wronged you. Mom…they have come. The Rainbow Warriors are here! Now rise, be strong and have faith. I am not done protecting you, Mother. We are not done just yet! Yes, many won’t know I send you this letter, but some will. Yes, some will. Trust me, they will do something about it, because not everyone can be a savior, Mother…but a savior, could come from anywhere! Heal soon, because all 7.8 billion of us is nothing without you. Love, This teeny-tiny man who loves his Mama Earth very much   ***Hey guys, if you’re inspired by my letter to our Mother Earth and want to protect her too, please donate to show you support. I am fundraising for Greenpeace (Rainbow Warrior is Greenpeace’s ship) and we are trying to fight for a better environment, and your support, no matter how small, will mean everything to our Mother Earth. Let your good deeds be like rain. Drop a little everywhere. Thank you!!

Hi earthlings, good day! Every morning we heard in the news that Our Beloved Home is dying. The Earth is on the brink of disasters. It is suffocated by the plastic wastes coming from every corner of the world. Haven't we had enough of this? Until when are we going to satisfy our selfish needs by destroying the only place to live in? The Mother who abundantly provides us natural resources, nurture us nutritions, continuously supplying oxygen for humans yet they are the root causes of catastrophe that's happening right now. We're currently having a plastic campaign called Break Free From Plastics. Greenpeace's aim is to ensure the ability of the Earth to nurture life in all its diversity. Everywhere is polluted with the remains of polystrene containers, supermarket bags, cigarette filter tips, nylons and other plastics. Some are in the form of microscopic grains, others in lumps coming from both domestically and internationally. Our movement issued to the campaign that's not uncommon to us where Malaysia has been the dumping ground of the world and owns the broken global recycling system. We were really shocked by the extent of the environmental pollution and health conditions likely caused by illegal burning and dumping of imported plastic waste. For the fact that Greenpeace is independent financially, our campaigns are funded by our supporters and we don't accept any money from government or corporations to fully remain transparency. Your fund will help the research, investigation and undercover works regarding environmental pollution in Malaysia. For example: exposing illegal plastic waste trades, pressuring government for greener policies and big companies like Nestle to reduce their environmental impacts. As we believe in action speaks louder than words, it's time to stop this right here, right now! Our Mother Nature is really in pain. We need as much support as possible. Let's go hand in hand and be part of Greenpeace to put an end to this issue. Show your love, show that you care by donating with Greenpeace. Together, let's break free from plastic!

Greenpeace Malaysia is an independent NGO that InvestigatesDocumentsExposesActs andLobbies for the betterment of our environment.Flipping through just our recent history, we were faced with LYNAS's environmental threats, the annual haze (jerebu) issue and now to make things worse, plastics as well.As a Malaysian, it's sad to see my beautiful country becoming one of the world's biggest dumpsite for plastic waste.Within 6 months in 2018, Malaysia imported more than 600 thousand metric tons of plastic wastes from around the world.Since then, they were mostly burned or left abandoned around Malaysia.Greenpeace has managed to tackle the issue in Port Klang through its 2018 "The Recycling Myth" report. But our fight does not stop here.Environmental abusers never take their day off so neither should we.We need your help to continue our missions and sustain our operations. To pressure better governance, policies and greener corporate commitments! We are financially independent from any government, corporations or political parties funding to not compromise our integrity. We are at the cross-road to START making the change or DELAY possible actions.Support Greenpeace,if you think that we should not let the environment suffer.if you want a better, cleaner environment for us and the next generations.if you think a CoVid-19 quarantine won't stop your heart from reaching out to help.if you are part of the solution.I am doing my part by supporting Greenpeace to continue its amazing work right here in my Tanah Air Tercinta. We have the capacity, We have the power, We have done this before and We shall do it again, Together! Now its your turn!

Hello Hi Everyone, My name is Atikah. I graduated from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu and earned my Bachelor Degree in Biodiversity Conservation and Management. The experiences and exposure I received during my study help me grow my enthusiasm and passion towards our nature. During my Internship at Jabatan PERHILITAN, I have seen a bigger picture of how Malaysia put an effort in saving our wildlife. Yes, they did well and I appreciate it when they allowed me to contribute something even in a short time. To this day, my passion for nature never dwindled. Instead, it only grew stronger and that becomes the reason why am I here, standing strong with Greenpeace. I wonder if anyone of you has ever gone through a heartbreak whenever you saw in the news about an endangered animal's lives are threatened because of human activities, the polar bear struggling to find food in a melting habitat, crying orang-utans trying to protect their baby while losing their homes from deforestation, sea animals found dead with plastic inside their stomach and the death of great barrier reef. Because I did. Without we realize, because of our lack of tolerance and selfishness have caused grief in this world which put a lot of pain and suffering on our animals and planet. If you still not realize it yet, mind me to elaborate more by relate this with the case of COVID-19 which everyone on the planet is facing right now. The virus suspected was transmitted to humans at a 'wet market' in the city of Wuhan where wildlife was being sold. This ongoing pandemic is the result of overproduction and overconsumption by certain individuals. Luckily, with less human intervention because of the lockdown cause a drop in greenhouse gases emission and pollutants. Obviously, the conditions we are going through right now is not ideal but look at the fast and urgent actions in response to the virus outbreak. It shows the capability of someone to do something and make a change towards the danger they are facing. So, I'm taking this chance to invite you, earthlings, to participate. Our mother earth needs us, protecting the planet should be everyone's responsibility. Be it big or small, your actions matter!Greenpeace does not accept money from governments, corporations or political parties. Individual contributions, together with grants from foundations, are the only source of our funding. This is why we need your help, your donation and fundraising can help to investigate, campaign, document, and lobby for a sustainable balance between humans and the environment.Let's support us by donating! any amount will help and be very much appreciated. Terima kasih kerana mengambil berat tentang alam sekitar kita !

A Letter From Mother EarthMy dears,I am planet Earth and I am writing this to let you know what I am going through. Mother Jupiter said, “I am the only planet in the solar system with water.” You know I am very special and you should take care of me properly.I am home to bacteria and the dinos that once existed. Many beings are going extinct because humankind is exploiting me through unscientific development. The alarming pollution rate pains me. You, cruel human beings, are polluting the water, air, and soil, releasing various chemicals every day as the waste management system is so disorganised. The air that I am giving you to inhale with happiness is getting drier day by day. The soil on which plants are living and the houses are built is filled with plastic. Since microbes can’t inhale, the soil is losing its fertility every day.I fear that a day will come when there will be no water, trees, animals or birds. My dear friends who are reading this letter please put your hands together and protect me. If you do that you are protecting your own posterity. With love and affection,Mother Earth🌎

GREENPEACE EXISTS BECAUSE THIS FRAGILE EARTH DESERVES A VOICE !!, IT NEEDS SOLUTIONS, IT NEEDS CHANGE, AND IT NEEDS ACTION !!!I'm on a journey to invite all of you join in a movement for every one of us to become a Superhero in our own right, for Mother Earth! If not Us, then Who? If not Now - When?! We can be better children to our Mother Earth and stop her tears shed because of the pollution we've created.WHO ARE WE?We are standing up with communities around the world to hold governments and corporations accountable for their actions and inaction. Whether on the streets or at the ballot box, we citizens hold the real power and it shows the most when we work together. At Greenpeace we are honoured to say that our work is funded almost entirely by donations given to us by passionate individuals from all over the world who are making efforts to create change for our planet. Our independence is vital for us to be effective in our campaigning work, which is why we have it as a core principle that guides all of our fundraising activities. We do not accept funding from governments, corporations, political parties or intergovernmental organisations.WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?Greenpeace wants Malaysia and other member states of ASEAN to declare an immediate ban on all imports of plastic waste, and establish a regional policy to massively reduce the production of unnecessary single-use plastic packaging, while facilitating innovation on systems of refill and reuse.THE PLASTIC WE USE ONCE, DESTROYS OCEANS AND THE LIFE IN ITDid you know microplastics are nearly impossible to avoid, hiding in household dust, inside toys our kids use and seeping into shampoo, cosmetics or countless other products we use daily? What many people don’t realise is that it goes beyond just using plastic - we’re ingesting it too.Plastic is used to make thousands of unnecessary single-use items, from grocery bags to forks and food packaging.Microplastics can also be found in almost everything we consume or use daily. With stomachs stuffed full of plastic, many animals have starved to death as it diminishes their urge to eat while stunting their growth and reproductive output.Say NO to unnecessary single-use plastic! And be a VOICE for our planet. Greenpeace Malaysia is calling on corporations and governments to step up with a policy banning single-use plastic packaging.WHY DO WE NEED TO FUNDRAISE?We are an Independent NGO, and We Can't do this Alone! Mother Earth needs our help and if we stand together, we can work towards giving our future generations to opportunity to live without the consequences of our inaction. These efforts we create together is not just for you or me - it is for US.Let's join the movement TODAY.HOW CAN YOU HELP?Support us financially by clicking on the "DONATE NOW" button. You contribution will make a Big Change and all change starts with passionate individuals, like yourself!THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT

Have you heard that Malaysia has been importing single used plastic from foreign countries?? Have you heard about us greenpeace? We are an independent NGO, fighting against plastic pollution. Malaysia becoming the worlds number ONE destination for plastic waste export. The reason for this is simple. In 2017 when China,  worlds biggest dumping ground for plastic abruptly decided that they are not going to take most of it in anymore  then all the trash had to get dumped elsewhere. That's when it entered the fertile and friendly soils of sunny Southeast Asia whereby Malaysia is one of the country which stepped up to take up most of the share of the trash which officially kickstarted our plastic fueled nightmare. Soon later Malaysia became the single largest importer of plastic waste in the world which resulted in start ups of plenty plastic recycling firms in Malaysia, many of them were illegal. The plastic recycling facilities mushroomed in places such as Klang, Kuala Langat and Jenjarom. It is important to note that with these facilities came trouble as well. Higher-grade plastic that was valuable was sorted and recycled religiously.  Where else, unfortunately, the low-grade chunk isn't suitable for recycling hence those plastics automatically kept to aside to be burnt. As anyone with even the minutest knowledge of plastic would be able to tell you, burning it is a very, very bad idea. The poisonous fumes soon caused local residents much heartache and headache. That's when we from Greenpeace stepped in and produced a report `The Recycling Myth'. We pushed the report to the adun adun Selangor during the period between July 2018 and April 2019, Government closed 150 unlicensed plastic recycling factories. Unfortunately, closing these facilities alone won't solve the problem because this plastic pollution has spread to the Northern States such as Penang, Kedah and Perak. Hence this is why we require maximum support from PUBLIC. As we believe in people power. We have to put a stop to this plastic pollution together so our future generation will have a better place to live. Now to the most interesting part where all you have to do is by simply contributing humbly to Greenpeace in order to sustain our beloved mother nature.DONATE TO US TO SAVE OUR EARTH

C-Contributing O-On R-Reviving O-Original N-Nature's A-Abnormalities YOU could be the next SUPERHERO by contributing throughout the journey of reviving Mother Earth in getting rid of the Nature's abnormalities also know as pollution which actually originates from our daily activities.Has it ever come across our mind that the amount of single use plastic around us are more than accessible foods for poor countries around the world? Malaysia itself took a major share in the plastic waste issues due to the imported plastic waste from 10 countries of 1 trillion kilograms in just the first six months of 2018.The amount was nearly as much as the total our country received in 2016 and 2017.If it's from my perspective,it seems to be a big business that generates national income thus it takes a lot of patience to overcome this problem. In the first place ,recycling was the purpose for the importation of plastic wastes. However,no proper monitoring from the Government results to the risk of detoriating our health.Nowadays ,most of us would have finally realised that our well-being and our life couldn't be bought with money.Thousands of ringgit would not be able to buy us another life during the spread of Covid-19. The same impact implies well to this plastic waste issue.Random dumping areas and open burning are A BIG NO to our health but illegal operators had already done their damages nearby Port Klang and Teluk Panglima Garang. If you think that it's bad enough that it's happening nearby people's home , it's worst that they inhale toxic fumes everyday.I would not want this to happen to my family and friends and I bet you felt the same too. This is one of the main reasons as to why I am trying my best to be the voice of Mother Earth by campaigning foor Greenpeace Malaysia.By being independent and supported only by the public,Greenpeace Malaysia were able produce a report through months of investigations, undercovers and research which became appealing to all the Adun of Selangor to take action in 2019.You may have heard or read of the raids and shut down of those illegal factories but it's not time for a 'HOORAY' yet. Their modus operandi of shifting to the northern states such as Kedah,Perak and Port Penang has made our beloved states congested with plastic wastes that obviously couldn't be recycled. To end this,I would like to invite all of you to lend a hand in helping our mission by putting aside a Rm2 per day for a month (about rm58/month) continuously so that we would be able to continue our investigations and research in steps of producing impactful reports with all the facts that will blow your mind away. You will definitely not regret and will be able to have a good night sleep after ,knowing that you are one of the reason our Mother Earth are still safe for our future generations in years to come.
