As has become a tradition over the last few years, I am continuing to celebrate a present-free birthday and this year I have chosen to fundraise for 'Hospis Malaysia'. It would mean a lot to me if you could donate to this very worthy cause - there is no such thing as too small a contribution, as every donation can help to make a difference. The work of those who provide care to people with life-threatening illnesses and in the final stages of their life is difficult, often thankless and noble, and this year I will be fundraising to help Hospis Malaysia continue to provide a service that makes such a great difference to many families. HOSPIS MALAYSIA is a charitable organization providing professional palliative care to people with life-threatening illnesses e.g. cancer and organ failure. Their aim is to provide the highest quality of patient services so as to provide relief from, and prevent pain and suffering associated with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. Their patient services are offered at no charge, at the comfort of the patients’ homes. HOSPIS MALAYSIA is also committed to increasing better access to quality palliative care for all Malaysians in need by continuously partnering with major international palliative care developments, universities and clinical partners, as well as working closely with the Ministry of Health Malaysia.As a charitable organisation, HOSPIS MALAYSIA relies on funding and donations from organisations and generous individuals to continue their services to preserve the quality of life for every patient with a life-threatening illness.

Hey you, I’m joining Summersault’s #Pledge2Tutu challenge and I will be wearing a GREEN TUTU! Yeah, you read that right...! Why? I wanna raise funds for Hospis Malaysia.I'm doing this because I know what it is like to take care of a sick family member whom everyone else has given up on (including himself). It was so very DIFFICULT! God knows how much of tears I've cried and how many times I ALMOST gave up myself. But I found angels, disguised amongst us as friends and family members. I even met strangers who offered me COMFORT simply because they can. Now, I'm paying it forward. I REALLY want family members of those with illness to know that I'm with them spiritually and emotionally. Know that HELP is available out there. People do care. Angels do exist. You just need to hang on and reach out. Help is out there. Hospis Malaysia is one of the few help out there.And you're wondering what can you do to help? Where do I start? Talk to me. 200km Fund-Run. We call it.Not a fun-run, 200km really not 'fun' at all for us, as we ain't no elite nor seasoned runners. We are just regular people who found passion in running.200km is difficult, but not impossible. Lot of pains and sufferings will be anticipated in our coming 200km run, but all these can't compared with those faced by patients with life-limiting illnesses. We are especially motivated because our love of running will benefit a worthy cause to community. Hence, on 15th March 2019, we will be running 200km in the coming Katsuo Stamina TITI Ultra Marathon 2019, to raise fund for Hospis Malaysia. What we raise from this page will go directly to Hospis Malaysia. Hospis Malaysia is a charitable organisation that offers professional palliative care to those with serious illnesses (such as cancer, AIDS, organ failure or progressive neurological conditions.) Their clinical team makes home visits to assess patients and help with the problems related to a serious illness, be they physical, psychological or social. Their care is provided free of charge. I’ve always wanted to run a marathon, and I can’t justify not raising some money for an amazing cause while doing it! Two years ago, we lost my grandfather to cancer, and Hospis Malaysia was right there, making sure that we had all the help we needed as his final act played out. I’d like to give something back, so I’d really appreciate it if you could spare a few bucks for this amazing charity. Peace and love you guys.
