"I originated from a small town located in the northern part of Malaysia. This town faced a scarcity of proper educational infrastructure and had limited resources and opportunities in comparison to my counterparts residing in larger cities. However, I consider myself fortunate because my parents had the means to enroll me in additional classes and support my participation in extracurricular activities. These experiences played a significant role in shaping the person I am today.I was able to pursue my education up to the tertiary level, a chance that many of my peers from my hometown were not afforded. This realization led me to participate in the Seed Of Deed program. My aim in joining this program is to give back to society by empowering underprivileged students, ensuring that they receive equitable opportunities and education access as their peers. My hope is to enable them to have the same possibilities as others."

Operation Bajalan Abagas 2023OBA is an educational equality project under Small Changes My, which aims to bridge the education gap between marginalised youths and high school students from a B40 family background.As volunteers for OBA this year, We were entrusted with developing modules focusing on the following: - Character - Compassion- Connection- Confidence - Competence The modules developed will conducted at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Miles for smiles: Running to Transform As the name details, it is a fundraising initiative by Aida and Najwa to challenge themselves out of their comfort zone & document it while reaching their target of raising a total of RM300.For every RM10 donated, we will run/ brisk walk for 1 km. The Proof of the run will be updated day by day.We hope you can support us in this project in order to complete the run. The small act of you giving, you will make a big difference.

Our modules will cover various topics such as:DigitalisationEnglish Proficiency Educational Pathway after SPMSelf ManagementIndividual Enhancement By donating to Books of Hope, you will be helping the beneficiaries of Small Changes' Seeds of Deeds 2023 and orphans from Project Jannah's library project. Note: All proceeds will be used to fund Small Changes Seeds of Deeds 2023 and other empowerment projects. The cost of the children's books that will be donated to Project Jannah will be borne by me.

As volunteers for PB this year, we were entrusted to develop modules focusing on the followings:- Social Consciousness - Confidence Boost - Volunteerism - Second Chance- English ProficiencyThe modules developed are conducted alternatively, at Rumah Raudhatul Al-Faeez (RAF) or Rumah Sentuhan Budi (RSB) from June to August 2023.--Spread Your Positivity--As the name entails, it is a fundraising initiative by Ikmal and Hannah in spreading positivity to the beneficiaries. Everyone has the chance to give a message to those in need while donating. It can be positive words/advice/guidance/quotes/etc that can be custom-made by the donor and will be given to the beneficiaries. Donating and spreading positive words are powerful concepts that have the potential to create a significant impact and bring about positive change in the world. Spreading positive words involves sharing kindness, encouragement, and uplifting messages with others. It is about consciously choosing our words to inspire, motivate, and bring joy to those around us. Positive words have the ability to lift spirits, boost confidence, and foster a sense of connection and well-being. Project Beanstalk (‘PB 2023)PB is an educational empowerment program under Small Changes Malaysia which aims to bridge education gap among orphans, underprivileged and vulnerable children. As volunteers for PB this year, we were entrusted to develop modules focusing on the followings:- Social consciousness-Confidence Boost-Volunteerism - Second Chance ; and- English Proficiency. The modules developed are conducted alternatively, at Rumah Raudhatul Al-Faeez (RAF) or Rumah Sentuhan Budi (RSB) from June to August 2023.Challenge Among UsAs the name entails, it is a fundraise initiative by Belle and Farah in challenging themselves out of their comfort zone & document it while reaching their target of raising a total of RM 300.Consisting of 5 challenges in total, for every RM60 we raised, we will do a challenge. Some of which were intended to be a ‘sneak peek’ shall be revealed upon reaching the next target. We hope you could support us for this project in order to complete all the challenges. This initiative focuses on embracing the power of giving by donating money to fund projects empowering underprivileged students and simultaneously contributing to the sustainability of clothing. The money donated will be channelled to educational empowerment projects. We will also collect preloved clothes on our end to be donated to those in need. For every rm10 collected, we will donate one piece of clothing to a charity.

Every RM10 donation, we will provide a person in need with a lunch meal for a day Feed to Fund is a campaign to raise money for Small Changes 'Seed of Deeds: Flagship Project 2023' project, which aims to close the educational gap between advantaged and disadvantaged students. With this fundranger initiative, we make an effort to assist individuals who, because to financial hardship are unable to purchase their lunch for the day. For some people, it is normal for them to sacrifice their break meal to prioritise more important things. Thus, we have set some target for our beneficieries into two types which are:Homeless person living beside sidewalkPerson who refuge at the mosqueIn order to expand the benefit from this fundraise, we are looking for more potential receiver. You are most welcome to give your thoughts on the locations and people who would be an excellent beneficiaries of our cause.Again, thank you so much for your help. As undergraduates ourselves, we believe education had helped us a lot in going through the phases in our life. From kindergarten to university level, education had provided us a path of what to do and where to go next. The list of benefits and gains from the knowledge we had been taught goes a long way. Therefore, involving ourselves in this project will enable us to give back what we have to the community.What actually is Project Beanstalk?Project Beanstalk is one of the annual flagship project held by Small Changes. This 4 months period project includes developing modules and executing activities during our visits to the orphanages. These modules focuses on 4 pillars which are Volunteerisme, English Proficiency, Social Consciousness and Confidence. Positive feedbacks had been received from caretakers over the years. This year's visits are to Rumah Raudhatul Al Faeez and Rumah Sentuhan Budi. Your donation will continue to bring out the best of these benefeciaries and inspire them to move forward for their future. With that, we are selling our indulgence batik cakes around Bandar Baru Bangi on 4 selected dates to fundraise for this project! You may find the guidelines to order in the following posters. Alternatively, you can also donate at any amount through our QR code. These might seem very small, but these small changes is about to make big, big differences!

It is an empowerment camp that aims to tackle the issue of education inequity. Not only that, it aims to increase English confidence among the beneficiaries and give an insight into education pathways after school. This project also helps to provide skills and confidence to prepare the beneficiaries for the future and enhance their emotional intelligence. Our fundraising project is called Mini Hearts, Mighty Strides. 'Mini Hearts' signifies the kindness and empathy that resides within each individual who supports our cause. We believe that it takes a caring heart to initiate change and create a positive difference in the world.'Mighty Strides' reflects the actions we are committed to taking. It signifies the commitment and effort we are willing to put forth to ensure that every step we take brings us closer to a more equitable educational landscape.The name as a whole represents the synergy between the compassionate hearts of our donors and the strides we will make as fundraisers.
