Hello! We are Student Group 1 from the Diploma in Broadcast Communication program at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology, a team of passionate individuals driven by the desire to make a meaningful impact. United by our shared commitment to serving our community, we've joined hands to support those in need through Kechara Soup Kitchen. With backgrounds in communication, we believe in the power of storytelling to inspire change. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful idea: to use our skills to amplify the voices of the voiceless and shine a light on the struggles faced by the marginalized. By leveraging the power of communication, we aim to raise awareness, mobilize support, and uplift lives. Join us in our mission to make a difference, one story at a time.

Good day everyone, we are students from INTI International College Subang and we're carrying out a Community Service Project in order to help those in need during these tough times. 2020 is a difficult year for almost everyone in every corner of the world because of the pandemic. We were advised to stay at home if we did not have anything to settle outside and we can do this because we have a place to stay but this is not the case for the homeless. We decided to collaborate with Kechara Soup Kitchen because our aim are similar which is to provide basic needs to the homeless and needy in Malaysia. Our goal is to raise a minimum of RM500 in hopes to bring a better life for those who have none. No one should be sleeping on newspapers by the roadside. Remember them in your Chinese New Year celebrations. Your kind donation will be the 'ANGPAU' for the homeless. Help us give hope in order for them to hope for a better day.

This year, service projects in Year 9 have focused on raising awareness of the issue of homelessness and on supporting homeless charities in and around Malaysia. Our school has been kind enough to give us the opportunity of taking part in a sponsored sleep out overnight on school grounds. The Year 9 students will experience what homelessness is like first hand by sleeping out in school overnight on cardboard boxes. We will also be taking part in various activities throughout the night to broaden our knowledge and understanding about homelessness. We will also be eating at a soup kitchen, building a shelter, a movie on homelessness and preparing their own beds for the night ahead.
