am a pastor at seventh-day Adventist church, Kenya. i have a call and a heart of service for humanity. i have heard deep my heart a desire to reach our to the Maasai (a marginalized community in Kenya) with the gospel of Jesus Christ. i work in their area but mission has become hard due to poor road network, poor communication network, lack of PA system and means to reach them. i really struggle to reach the few and improving my service to them has been a challenge. its my desire to serve them whole heartedly and its the reason am looking for support to enable serve them better.

Am born from a humble background of five am last born in. Since I grew up have been dreaming to make change in both my family and society at large. Am schooling at Kenyatta university bachelor of education and my brother is the one who have been paying for my fees. Since this year started my brother was dismissed from work now is jobles now I lack school fees to complete my remaining four semesters. treet children comprise about 1-3% of the children and youth population of the major cities in the Philippines. Metro Manila and the National Capital Region (NCR) have an estimated 30,000 children on the streets, while nationwide, some 250,000 street children are believed to be plying the streets of major urban centers. From available studies, most are boys aged 7 to 16 years. About 75% of them still return home to families, after working or begging on the streets.The situation of children working and/or living on the street is viewed as a violation of the rights of children. The five major causes for children to take to the streets are poverty and large families; unemployment/ underemployment; limited access to basic social services; breakdown of family structures; and the shift from traditional values that tend to be consumeristic and materialistic. The immediate trigger is often physical or sexual abuse within the family. When these children experience family problems, hunger, neglect and domestic violence, they escape from their homes and live part-time, or even full-time on the streets. Some are simply abandoned.

i am from Indonesia, i am a daughter with 2 children. due to my economical condition i have to work help my husband to earn some money for us. i could not effort enough money to hire a baby sitter to take care my children. therefore i asked my mom's help. she is 65 years old. not strong enough anymore to take care 2 babies at home. but she tried so hard to help me.. lately she has complaining about her chest. but i could not take her to hospital for general check up. i am trying so hard to save enough money so someday i could take her for a medical check and make sure she is alright.. i don't have a father, as i know that he left me and my family since i was 2 years old, i don't know why he just left, my parents not divorce. and never comeback till now. i even could not remember anything about him.. this make a deep hurt to my mom's feeling, she struggle to raise me up, but i could do nothing for her.. even just to take her for medical check. i don't know how much it will cost. i heard it might approximately SGD 1500. if someone could help me i will much appreciated. or if there is a doctor out there that could help me by doing a medical check up for my mom for free its also will make me so glad.. i know there are so many people out there need more help than me, i am not ungrateful with i have now i just want to have a mother as long as i can by taking a good care of her as she is the only one i have..your help will mean a world for me..sincerely yours,Larasati
