I will be participating in my first amateur Muay Thai Fight on 19th January 2019. This is a huge personal challenge I have set for myself in 2019 which takes immeasurable courage, determination, discipline and perseverance. Training journey over the last few months leading up to the day has been rigorous, which included: - staying on a very strict minimum diet to lose weight and get qualified; - 2-3 hours training every night until my legs couldn't move anymore; - repeatedly waking up every day with an aching body and still continued sessions after sessions; - going through pain and agony due to recurrent injuries Yet I persisted.... And finally the day is arriving and I'm ready!!! Please come to cheer for me on the day or make a donation! Entry is FREE but you are welcome to make a donation to THE HUB HONG KONG. I hope to raise some money through this event for a charity that is dear to my heart - THE HUB HONG KONG - a children and youth centre in Sham Shui Po that provides educational and developmental services and support to disadvantaged kids and empower them to become valuable members of our community. Kathy had been an ardent supporter of The Hub with her kind intention to give back to the Hong Kong community. She actively garnered support from her network and friends to help fundraise to provide tutors and classes for disadvantaged children living in Sham Shui Po. She gave her support without asking for any recognition or expecting anything in return and went about helping in a deliberate manner to make a positive impact on the children.The Hub team would like to express our deepest condolence to Kathy's friends and family.
