My name is Md Maminul Islam. I cleared SSC in 2012 and HSC in 2014. Then I started a business and things are going well. But next to my business there is a madrasah and an orphanage. The name of that institution is Chehelghazi Keratul Qur'an Hafezia and Orphanage Madrasa. There are about 200 students in this institution, most of them are orphans. Many more orphans and poor students are getting admission. Basically hoping for donations to keep this institution running better.

The Hope Branch, Pertubuhan Harapan Amal Harith Iskander help homeless, single parents, OKU, B40 and marginalized communities in Malaysia. This year, we work hand in hand with DBKL and reach out to vulnerable families who need help. We aim to distribute 60,700 meals to homeless, OKU, B40, especially those who have lost their jobs and income during this pandemic. Distribution Destinations as below: Pusat Komuniti Gelandangan (PKG) Medan Tuanku PPK Chow KitUnderprivileged homesOrphanage homesThe coronavirus pandemic means that once again, even more people are at risk of hunger and disease. This year, more than ever, we must feel the pain and struggle of those suffering around the world and come together as humanity. Hello there! Glad that you clicked on this.😁Let us introduce ourselves. We are students from DFT (Diploma In Information Technology) Group 4 from Tunku Abdul Rahman College (Penang Branch). In this semester, we have a programme called Civic Consciousness And Volunteerism and one of the coursework has provided us with a chance to conduct a fundraising project to help and connect with society to overcome their problems. Our group has 33 students and we are ready to associate with this fundraising project. This is a fundraising project for The Hope Branch Pertubuhan Harapan Amal Harith Iskander. They have launched an event called MCO 3.0 Homeless and Under Privileged Food Distribution Malaysia on 12/04/2021 and ends on 31/03/2022. The main objective of the fundraising event is to help the homeless, single parents, OKU, B40 and marginalized communities in Malaysia.The Hope Branch is an initiative to quickly and effectively raise funds and effectively deliver for those affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic. While many of us enjoy the pleasure of cooking satisfying meals at home as well as dining out, there are a plethora of people—many of them children—in Malaysia that do not get enough to eat. The recent storm of COVID-19 has further exacerbated food insecurity among low-income households and is pushing some to the brink of famine. For our project, we’ll be associating with The Hope Branch that distributes about 1,500 cooked meals a week, with a focus on the homeless and B40 communities in areas with urban poverty in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. The NGO also distributes food to families living in People’s Housing Project (PPR) flats such as PPR Pantai Dalam, PPR Shah Alam, PPR Lembah Subang, PPR Kota Damansara and PPR Jinjang. “We are trying very hard to keep this sustainable. We get patrons who have lost their jobs, single mothers or hawkers to cook the fresh meals so that they have an ongoing income.”- The Hope Branch Hunger doesn't have to exist — let's end it together!

Thirty six and thankful. If you know me well, you know how much I love celebrating my birthday. Not because of the gifts and the food, but because it is the time of year where I get to celebrate life with those I love most. This year, with Malaysia just coming out of lockdown, I'd like to celebrate my birthday by giving hot meals to those who need them most. The Hope Branch has mobilised kitchens in key cities across Malaysia, providing hot meals, groceries and personal care items to the homeless, the unemployed and Covid-19 patients who are under home quarantine and are unable to buy food for themselves. If, like me, you're feeling particularly grateful for having a roof over your head, a full belly and a steady income, please donate generously. This would be the best birthday gift I could ever hope for. I love you all.
