Being a soldier is a great opportunity to serve our beloved country. This is what Matteo Guidicelli believes when he decided to join the Philippine Army as a reservist. During his training, Matteo learned how hard it could be to choose whether to serve your country or be with your family, especially when duty calls. Unfortunately, the peace and freedom that we seek continue to be preserved with the lives that our men and women in uniform have sacrificed. For the military personnel out in the field braving their way in defending the freedom and peace of this country, an organization like HERO Foundation is one way to bring them comfort and assurance as well, that even when they face danger and hardships because of their oath to be of service to the country, there is an institution made for this cause – to support those that they would be leaving behind. Through HERO Foundation’s new program called R.E.A.C.H. (Rise, Empower, Aspire, Commit, and Honor) Program, selected grantees are now given a full College sponsorship in any college/university nationwide. This is open to all incoming College Freshmen from NCR, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao who are existing HERO scholars; and AFPEBSO scholars/military orphans whose fathers are either KIA (killed in action) or CDD (complete disability discharge).  The scholarship amounting to P150,000 per year covers one (1) scholar’s tuition and matriculation, board and lodging, food allowance, books and supplies, clothing and uniform, and transportation allowance. Help Matteo raise funds for the education of the military orphans.Be a Hero to our Heroes’ children. To make a contribution, click the "Donate Now" button and donate via credit card. Corporal Jovelyn Gonzaga PA – an enlisted soldier, an athlete, and now a HERO Ambassador.Coming from a poor family, Jovelyn knows what it’s like to struggle in life. Using her talent and passion in playing volleyball, along with the help of the kind-hearted individuals who supported her, Jovelyn finished her studies and is now living her dreams. Today, as she gives back to those ‘heroes’ who have helped her along her journey, she now wants to share the hope that has kept her going.“Kaya gusto kong tumulong sa HERO Foundation dahil gusto kong mabigyan ng pagasa ang mga kabataan na nangangailangan ng tulong.Sa lahat ng followers ko, alam ko naman na busilak ang inyong mga puso na katulad ng mga taong tumulong sa akin.. humihingi ako ng supporta sa inyo na tulungan natin yung mga anak at pamilya ng aking kapwa sundalo para mabigyan natin sila ng magandang future.”Every year, hundreds of Filipino Soldiers are killed, leaving behind thousands of military orphans who need our support to finish their education. Let us honor the sacrifices our men and women in uniform have made. Help Jovelyn raise funds for the education of the orphans our fallen soldiers have left behind.Currently, HERO Foundation provides the following stipend for the HERO Scholars:Elementary Level: P850 per month (P10,000 per year); High School Level: P1,250 per month (P15,000/year); College Level: P1,700 per month (P20,000/year) and; Vocational Course: P2,100 per month (P25,000/year, max of 2years).The stipends that the Foundation provides help in the day-to-day expenses of these children. Stipends are given per year in elementary level and high school, per semester in college levels and upon enrollment for vocational courses. Stipends are spent on school supplies, transportation fees and other miscellaneous school expenses. Without these funds to compliment other scholarship grants from the government, it is more difficult for the children to sustain their studies.   Be a Hero to our Heroes’ children. Hello! I’ve set up this fund to be able to simultaneously donate to the Hero Foundation, Inc., the target amount of which is equivalent to a year’s worth of stipend that will be directly given to a Filipino soldier’s family to help fund a primary schooler’s educational needs like books, uniform, meals, transportation, school supplies, and tuition fees.I say simultaneously donate because I’m also currently sponsoring children on World Vision Philippines and SOS Children’s Village Philippines. As I’m not rich nor do I make big bucks, I currently can’t afford to make another donation to the Hero Foundation, Inc., an NGO that I’ve chosen to support as well given their cause to provide educational stipends to military orphans. The financial support helps keep orphans in school as it covers much needed requirements such as school supplies, transportation, meals, and even a portion of their tuition fee. Thanks, Loves, and may God bless you for your generosity!😘

DANCE 4 LIFE Philippines (D4L) national inter-school hip hop dance competition is the biggest and only charity dance contest in the Philippines. D4L advocates for the student dancers in all parts of the country to share their talent and skills in order to help other children and communities that are in need. It is an avenue in which the young people of our country can contribute in order to influence the societies that they belong to through dancing. Dance 4 Life Philippines from its humble beginnings to its continuous aspirations to expand in reaching out more people in need has been widely supported by both the dance community, corporate organizations to public offices and officials. From starting to support in the medication of seven (7) cancer patients at the National Children’s Hospital to providing basic education needs of twenty (20) elementary students of the World Vision, we have grown to have been able to support fifteen (15) cancer patients at the NCH. On our fourth (4th) Year, this 2016 we look to open this advocacy to more young people accommodating both the high school students around the nation and expanding our advocacy to college student dancers as well. During our latest and best year so far (5th) Year, we have opened this advocacy to non-school based dance crews launching the first ever SUPER CREW Division that consist of 20-35 Members per crew. This opened so many sponsorship opportunities that made us help more cancer patients this year. Accumulating approximately almost half a million funds to help finance the chosen beneficiaries of DANCE4LIFE PHILIPPINES
