To kick off 2023, and of course my favourite month of the year, I am raising funds for The Inspiration Factory Foundation. They are based in Indonesia and their mission is to provide tools to allow underprivileged children to dream, because they believe that "inspiration is at the heart of each world's greatness." This is my third time fundraising for them, and would love for you to contribute to their wonderful cause. Dreams are whispers of the soul.As we head into the new year armed with new goals and resolutions, we must give thanks to how far we have gotten. Every child in this world deserves an adult who believes in their goals and dreams. Inspiration Factory have designed the DreamBox, equipped with lesson materials, stationery and easy guidelines on how to use their resources. Each DreamBox will give the gift of education to 25 children for 40 weeks in a row. Let's inspire underprivileged children to fulfil their dreams and influence the world with this legacy!

8/7/2016Hello Everyone,Firstly I would like to thank all my friends and family for your kind donations. This marathon has been a great experience and one that I shall remember for a long time. I completed it in 5hrs 30mins. I had maintained a good pace till I hit the wall at 30km mark. That was the most challenging feat that I have ever done as it is no longer about your physical strength but you mental strength and endurance. I almost wanted to give up as the pain was unbearable. At certain points I broke down cause I just couldn't get my legs to run anymore. I thought about all the trainings I had done. Most importantly the reason I chose to run a full marathon which was for the children of Inspiration Factory. It was that which made me not quit and continue on with the marathon. It was a dream and I fulfilled that dream. Every child deserves to dream and we should help them in anyway we can to achieve it. Hi everyone,Firstly thank you for visiting my page. A few weeks ago I was trying to see how I can make myself more useful and was given this idea of tying a fund raiser together with my my participating in Gold Coast Full Marathon 2016. I have been training for the last 6 months and hope to complete the race. I came across the Inspiration Factory through Our Better World which presented their story. Inspiration Factory supports education for children living in the slumps of Jakarta. These children come from various backgrounds and have gone through much as a child. They believe that every child has a right to have a dream and with their efforts they are making dreams come true for these children. What I found most unique about it was that each child has a dream book that they can write down their dreams and at the end of every week, they look back to see how close they are to reaching their dreams. I would like to help these children achieve their dreams. Every donation that comes in will help these children a long way. I would like to thank you in advance and do look out for my updates as I complete the race this Sunday.
