We are three keen cyclists from AccorHotels and we participated “For their eyes only” charity ride held in late October 2016. As a big group, we raised almost more than 100K Euro to support the children who will need optical surgery. This time, we hope we can do better!Graham was the original driver of the team excited not only by the chance to raise money for a great cause while doing what he likes most – cycling – but also because he lived for over a year in Siem Reap.During that time he really appreciated what lovely people the Cambodians are – especially the children.Aileen is working as the CSR manager in AccorHotels Greater China, she always keeps the eyes on charity, environment protection and other sustainability activities and always join charity events to help the people who need help. Cambodia is a dreaming land for her, and the first experience in Cambodia will be cycling in this land really make she feels so excited! Keep moving! They will visit the beneficiaries of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) committed to raising awareness of and overcoming inequalities related to five Diversity & Inclusion pillars: disabilities, gender, LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender), generations and culture — as well as partake in a unique, culturally-enriching and interactive experience.By committing to the ride, each team of three individuals is aspiring to raise a total of USD 10,000. It supports the individual performance as well as being in our common interest.” – Sébastien Bazin, Chairman and CEO, AccorHotels and Arantxa Balson, Chief Talent & Culture Officer, AccorHotels.
