I am a year one student who is struggling financially to pay up school fees as my father has just lost his job. He was earning about $2500/month and we had just enough to scrape by.
We managed to pay off fees for semester 1 but now have to face semester 2. I am currently pursuing a diploma in Information Technology and would like to pursue a degree after completing National Service.
Now we cannot even afford to pay my semester fees and I am at a risk of having to drop out. Basic necessities are also hard for us.
I am working almost everyday after school and on weekends to lighten the financial load but my results are taking a toll as I do not have time to revise consistently. With insufficient sleep almost every day, I cannot focus in school and is not able to do well.
