My Story

Since starting in March 2015, Splash has given 700 foreign domestic workers, refugees and under-privileged young people the opportunity to learn to swim and be water safe. Last month, over 200 participants started new programmes in six classes across three locations. Splash is opening a new location in Discovery Bay in May, and they are starting several new under-privileged young people programmes over the next few months with the goal of teaching 120 children to swim by the end of 2017.

As a result The Splash Foundation has grown beyond its means and it needs support from us. To this end I have managed to put together a team to participate in a swim-a-thon on Sunday 26th March. The format of the swim-a-thon is a continuous 30min swim changing over every 50 meters with the objective to cover the greatest distance in 30mins. Our team will also be assigned two graduates from the previous Splash courses which is a great way showcase the impact Splash is having on the community to a wider audience.

We would greatly appreciate your support via a donation for this fantastic cause. Please donate to Splash through fundraising page.  Thank you in advance for your support.
