I'm making a difference by raising money for a cause very close to my heart and I live it each day as I live in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Please support me by donating so together we can save many dogs in a very short period of time. I will be internally grateful and will share the great stories and pictures of our mission.

My Story

Dog Days in Cambodia
For most dogs & cats, it’s all about survival. With millions of wild dogs & cats living amongst the country’s mainly rural population, rabies infection and death of residents are all too common. Combining vaccinations, de-sexing operations and education is the focus of the animal welfare groups in the Kingdom.
A recent high-profile rabies-death of a 10-year old girl who was infected from a cat bite has resulted in an opportunity to help the 20,000 residents and the dogs & cats of Silk Island near the capital of Phnom Penh.
Three of Phnom Penh’s veterinary clinics, PPAWS www.ppaws.com, #2 and #3 have been invited by the Buddhist Monks on Silk Island to come to the Pagoda and provide free vaccinations, spaying and neutering services, and education to residents. Although there are no veterinary services on the island, the Monks do their best to provide refuge and care to the hundreds of abandoned dogs & cats that are brought to the Pagoda.
The 4-day Silk Island project will involve a volunteer team of 20 between veterinarians, vet technicians and support staff, with the goal of vaccinating every dog & cat possible and de-sexing 40 animals per day.
The cost of medical supplies, travel and accommodation for the Silk Island project is $5250.00 USD.
If you share my passion for helping dogs & cats and would like to contribute to the Silk Island project, please follow the steps to donate here.   If you need to discuss with me further please contact me at [email protected] or WhatsApp 416-414-1903. If you’d rather contribute to the ongoing work of the Phnom Penh Animal Welfare Society (PPAWS) here is a summary of what we do:
