My Story

Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page. Water, such a basic necessity and vital for all forms of life. Yet, thousands of people across the world don't have access to clean drinking water. While we can say that we have the privilege of 24 hours access, there are places where people have to rely on unhygienic water, mostly stored during rains to quench their thirst. Cambodia is one such place where acute shortage of safe and clean drinking water has become a crisis, and I am on a pursuit to change this harsh reality. This fundraising is my attempt to install water pipes in remote areas of Cambodia which will provide people living there with access to clean drinking water, forever. Worldwide, 1 out of 5 deaths for children under 5 is due to a water related disease. I am seeking your support to raise funds, save lives and bring smiles to thousands. Together, we can restore hope. I will be taking part in MAD Campaign: Filters for Cambodia and aiming to raise money for Water for Cambodia. In June, I'll be heading up to Cambodia to actually get my hands dirty building the filters and also to meet the families which we will be helping.
