My Story
So, you may ask, what drive to make me check this out? or join this?
A penny for thought thingy.
Communities in poverty, children unable to be fed a nutritious meal, living days and nights without clean water, high death rates due to diseases and malnutrition, and more. Seeing or reading news of these made my heart feel very sour; it doesn't even need to reach a bitter stage.
Myself, thinking about what to eat, what to do, what to play, what to buy, while the other community is thinking how to survive a day through.
Sometimes, no matter what we do, we failed to obtain "inner happiness".
We would be spending money daily; like it or not; water, gas, petrol, food, utilities bills, luxury items, comfort items, etc.
To us, that meer BND10.00 could only get us little with economics fluctuation these days.
YET to other, a meer BND1.00 could get them to live a day in happiness.
Since I encountered this site, I would want to at least try to get something started even thou I am just sitting in front of the PC, unlike others challengers out there. This year onward, instead of flowery presents/gifts/etc. during seasons and birthdays, I wish all of this could be in the form of donations to World Vision Malaysia which can help in the transformation of these community.
