My Story

Hi, thanks for visiting our fundraising page. Mark 'Goliath' Owens and I will be taking part in Commando Challenge on 15/11/2014 to raise money for the Singapore Cancer Society. As we've signed up for the 'extreme' Commando Challenge, our race will involve completing a high ropes course, ziplining to a small island off Siloso beach, swimming back to Sentosa before picking up a 15kg backpack and completing the rest of the run and obstacle course. The SCS is celebrating 50 years of supporting the needs of patients and families affected by cancer in Singapore by providing subsidies for treatment, hospice home care, rehabilitative support, screening, public education and research and is an extremely worthwhile cause. The proceeds of your support are immediately sent directly to the Singapore Cancer Society and all donations are safe and secure. Both Mark and I will be training hard in the upcoming weeks and will no doubt be nagging everyone we know for donations so please dig deep and donate as we really appreciate your support.
